The regional Sarasota, Florida office of Homes by Towne, a national builder with a local commitment, is seeking a highly professional, motivated, and organized individual to fill our full-time Superintendent position. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing new home construction operations according to Homes by Towne's standards and processes to ensure the delivery of a quality home. Candidate will report directly to the Project Manager.

Primary Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee site improvements for single-family and multi-family new construction
• Manage and oversee vertical construction for single-family and multi-family construction
• Communicate safety standards to all laborers and subcontractors; enforce safety regulations for entire jobsite
• Conduct daily inspections of subcontractors work
• Perform required inspections with 3rd party QA inspectors according to Homes by Towne's QA program and ensure the QA program is being strictly followed
• Perform required inspections with municipal and utilities representatives
• Develop repair lists and review work of all laborers and trades to ensure work meets Homes by Towne's standards of quality
• Ensure construction schedule progression and adherence as set by Project Manager
• Manage subcontractor delivery dates and processes for delivered materials
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite and subdivision
• Participate in homeowner walk-through inspections and address issues in a timely and organized fashion
• Assist Customer Service in responding to warranty calls in a timely and organized fashion
• Assist in resolving issues/conflicts related to daily construction activities (start orders, vendor contracts, work orders, trade coordination)

• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years construction related experience. Experience in new home construction preferred.
• Ability to read construction documents to maintain quality control and inspect all aspects of construction including framing, stucco installations, electrical, plumbing, etc.
• Ability to write and communicate effectively, make correct decisions, ability to handle and diffuse difficult situations and customer concerns in a positive manner
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
