The regional Sacramento, California office of Homes by Towne, a national builder with a local commitment, is currently seeking a highly motivated, professional to fill our Part Time IT Support Analyst position.

The overall responsibilities of an IT Support Analyst include:

• Successfully troubleshoots basic network and PC hardware problems
• Troubleshoots or updates, in person or remotely, technology problems in an articulate and timely manner
• Always ready to humbly teach another team member about technology when they ask for help
• Provides one on one and large group training about systems and procedures for newly hired team members
• Coordinates with corporate IT team to maintain the integrity and availability to the critical business systems and data
• Assists other team members with the use of features in MS Office, browsers, and other business software packages
• Demonstrates the ability to use or willingness to learn then use advanced spreadsheet features like formulas, PivotTables, and VBA
• Demonstrates the ability to use or willingness to learn then use advanced word processing features like styles, references, and mail merge
• Setup, load, and integrate new computers, networks, and equipment
• Setup and troubleshoot mobile users' communication devices
• An affinity for technology and software such that new technology is an adventure not a burden
• An unshakable willingness to learn from peers as well as conduct independent research on questions outside the team member’s knowledge

Requirements include:

• Ability to work a flexible part time schedule
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strategic thinker with a strong attention to detail
• A thorough understanding of computers, Windows operating systems, and Microsoft applications
• Work toward a degree or technical certification preferably in Business, Information Technology, or Computer Science subject
